Advisable to enlist a local public notary, preferably one who speaks English or your language. He/she is responsible for paying Taxes, Registration and Transference of property into the appropriate local bureaucratic offices in the area. |

| Lawyer/buyer |
Advisable to enlist a local lawyer preferably one who speaks English or your language – he/she will carry out the search at the local Registry of Mortgages to make sure the seller holds an absolute title deed to the property, and that it is not encumbered by mortgage or claim. He/she will be present at the signing of the Purchase/Sale Contract. |
